The Rapids were a five-piece band based in the Ottawa Valley. Each member played in many bands across many styles and they brought those various influences into the band. Rootsy, rocky, country, punky, and always with their ragged hearts on their sleeves, they mixed up empowering anthems and hurtin' tunes in equal measure.
